1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how T-Minus Overtime Tracker ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application. By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data stored locally on your device
T-Minus Overtime Tracker is a local-first app. The following data is stored exclusively on your device using WatermelonDB and is never transmitted without your explicit action (signing in to sync):
- Work sessions (start time, end time, notes)
- User settings (expected daily hours, work schedule, theme preference)
- Vacation and off days
- Generated weekly report data
This data remains on your device even if you never create an account. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data.
3. Firebase Authentication
The App uses Firebase Authentication to manage identity. When you first launch the App, an anonymous user session is created automatically. This generates a unique anonymous user ID stored locally and on Firebase servers. No personal information is associated with this anonymous session.
If you choose to link your account with Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, Firebase receives your email address and a provider-issued identifier. This information is used solely to authenticate your identity and enable cloud sync.
4. Cloud sync via Firestore
Cloud sync is only active when you are signed in with a Google or Apple account. Anonymous users' data stays entirely on-device.
When sync is enabled, your work sessions, settings, and vacation days are uploaded to Google Cloud Firestore and can be accessed from other devices signed in with the same account. Data stored in Firestore is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Signing out removes your account link. Your data is re-attributed to a new anonymous local session and is no longer synced.
5. AI Weekly Reviews (Premium)
Premium subscribers can request an AI-generated weekly review. When you trigger this feature, the App sends a small set of aggregated statistics for the selected week to our backend server, which forwards them to OpenAI's API to generate a summary.
The data sent consists solely of:
- Total hours worked that week
- Number of work sessions
- Average session start time (in minutes from midnight)
- Average session end time (in minutes from midnight)
- Your target hours for the week
No raw timestamps, session notes, or personally identifiable information are ever sent. The generated review text is returned and stored locally on your device.
OpenAI processes this data subject to their privacy policy.
6. In-App Purchases
Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Google Play and subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.

You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app. See our account deletion instructions.
Local data: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data from your device.
Cloud data: To request deletion of data stored in Firestore or Firebase Auth, contact us at hi@t-minus.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing of your personal data
- Data portability

10. Children's privacy
T-Minus Overtime Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
